What We Do

Consistent, reliable pool care — not a rushed 10-minute job

When you sign up with Pool Pals, you're not just booking a pool cleaner. You're getting a knowledgeable friend who shows up on schedule, knows your pool inside-out, and actually cares whether the water looks right.

Every single visit runs through our full 10-point Pool Pals checklist — no shortcuts, no skipped steps. When we're done, you'll get a detailed report straight to your inbox so you always know exactly what was done and how your chemistry is sitting.

On a 12-month contract plan, basic chemicals are included — Salt, Chlorine, and Hydrochloric Acid up to 20 kg/L per month. No surprise bills. You'll always know what you're paying.

Plans start from $88/visit on a weekly year-round contract — and all prices include GST. Pick the frequency that suits your pool and lifestyle; we'll do the rest.

Every single visit

The 10-Point Pool Pals Checklist

We don't cut corners based on the week or the weather. Every visit, every time — here's exactly what we do.

Water chemistry test & balance — We test pH, chlorine, alkalinity, and more, then adjust until everything's sitting perfectly.
Chlorine & pH adjustment — We dose appropriately based on test results, not just a blanket amount.
Skimmer basket clean — Empty and rinse every skimmer basket so your filtration keeps running efficiently.
Full pool vacuum — We vacuum the entire pool to remove debris, sediment, and any early algae growth, leaving no area overlooked.
Walls, floor and tile brush — We brush the walls, floor and tiles to prevent calcium build-up and algae taking hold.
Surface skim — Remove all floating debris, leaves, and insects from the water surface.
Filter pressure check — We check the pressure of your pool system to ensure it is running as it should.
Pump & equipment inspection — A visual check of your pump, pipework, and any visible equipment for signs of wear or leaks.
Salt cell inspection (if saltwater) — Check cell condition and output level. Salt is included in your chemicals allowance.
Chemical dosing — All required dosing carried out during the visit, using chemicals included in your plan.

After every visit, we email you a full Pool Pals report — your water chemistry readings, what we did, and anything we spotted that might need attention. It's in your inbox the same day, in plain English.

Why Pool Pals

Three things that set us apart

Transparent pricing — always

We display every price publicly, so you know exactly what a plan costs before you commit. Basic chemicals are included as standard on every contract. If your pool ever needs a specialist treatment beyond that, we'll always tell you before doing any work, never as a surprise line item afterwards.

A report after every single visit

Every visit generates a Pool Pals report — water chemistry readings, what we did, anything flagged. It lands in your inbox the same day. You'll never have to wonder what was done.

Basic chemicals included as standard

On all 12-month contract plans, Salt, Chlorine, and Hydrochloric Acid (up to 20 kg/L/month) are included as part of the price. No extra line items for routine chemical use. We treat it as part of the job, not an upsell.
