Whatever the reason, Pool Pals will show up with everything needed to get your pool clean, balanced, and looking its best. We bring all the equipment and chemicals — you just unlock the gate.

Our one-off rate is $120 per hour (incl. GST), with chemicals charged at cost. We'll give you an honest time estimate before we start, and we'll let you know if anything unexpected comes up along the way.

We run the same 10-point Pool Pals checklist on one-off visits as we do on our regular contracts. A one-off is never a half-hearted clean — it's a full Pool Pals valet, just without the ongoing commitment.

Buying a house with a pool

You're taking over a pool and you don't know what state it's in. A one-off clean gets the water balanced and the equipment checked — so you know exactly where you stand before you settle in.

Holiday rental or Airbnb

Guests are arriving and the pool needs to be spotless. We can get in, do a full clean and balance, and have it guest-ready before check-in. Just give us a call — we'll sort the timing.

Your usual person let you down

One-off cleans — your questions answered

For a standard pool in reasonable condition, typically 1.5–2 hours. If the pool hasn't been maintained in a while, needs heavy vacuuming, or has significant algae growth, it'll take longer. We'll give you an honest estimate when you book, and we'll let you know if anything unexpected adds to the time.

Not at all. If you can give us gate access and let us know where the pump is, we're good to go. We'll send a message when we arrive and when we leave, along with a summary of what we found and what we did.

That's exactly what we're here for. Even heavily neglected pools can usually be brought back with the right treatment — though it may take more time and chemicals than a routine visit. If we assess the pool and think it needs a dedicated green pool recovery treatment, we'll tell you upfront. No nasty surprises.
